This Year is a Unique Opportunity to Help Make Debate Available to Everyone
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and your donation is fully tax-deductible.For seven years, the Texas Debate Collective has taught low-income students to compete at the highest levels of debate through our annual summer camp. This year, our housing provider doubled their room prices, and we didn't find out until a few months before camp. All revenue from this campaign goes directly to paying the housing costs for our scholarship students.
Our drive was kicked off by a generous contribution of $7,750 from our longtime partner, the Jack Jenkins Debate Opportunity Fund, and by an anonymous TDC board member ($7,000). Those donations covered half of our new expenses, but we need your help to raise the final $12,000.
TDC 2015 (we didn't all fit in the picture!)
We're calling on debaters and their family and friends--and anyone who understands the life-changing impact of debate--to help us continue bringing that opportunity to everyone.
